Barefoot to be supplemented for 1000 Barefoot Lady will be supplemented for the Qipco 1000 Guineas at Newmarket. Connections had been undecided over whether to put the Nell Gwyn winner into the first fillies' Classic of the season next Sunday but trainer Richard Fahey says she has made the decision for them. "Barefoot Lady will be supplemented for the Guineas. She's in absolutely fantastic form at home, 100 per cent," said the Malton trainer. "Before the Nell Gwyn I warned she was a bit backward in her coat but she's there now so we're having a punt. Put it this way, no other filly will be in better form in themselves than she is going into the race." Barefoot Lady is currently over 40/1 for the Qipco 1000 Guineas on Betfair.
