Wide-margin Royal Ascot winner Bedtime Story is set to make her seasonal return at the Curragh on Saturday, with trainer Aidan O’Brien also likely to return another leading three-year-old filly Heavens Gate at Newbury.

Bedtime Story was the 9.5 lengths winner of the Chesham Stakes last June and is a 20/1 chance for the English 1,000 Guineas while Heavens Gate, which finished third in the Albany Stakes at Ascot, is currently 33/1 for the Newmarket classic.

With both fillies entered for Saturday, Ballydoyle’s representative Chris Armstrong reports “they obviously have to come through their last bits of work and through all their tests and everything.

"Bedtime Story will probably go to the Park Express (at Curragh) and at the moment Heavens Gate looks like going to the Fred Darling (in Newbury), but it could change. That's the plan at the moment.

"They are two exciting fillies that have wintered well. They will come on for the run, but they are ready to start off the season. They will give us a fair idea where they fare going forward."
