Following 25mm of rain (22mm of which fell in a 30 minute period yesterday evening), the ground at Bellewstown is now soft (Flat) & yielding (NH).

Light rain is falling at present and the forecast is for sunny spells and occasional heavy showers.

The first of eight races on this evening's Flat card gets under way at 4.35pm.

Jumping resumes in Ireland after a two week break with a seven race card at Tipperary which starts at 5.00pm and features the Grade 3 Grimes Hurdle at 6.10. The going remains yielding after 5mm of rain since 8am yesterday and a dry night, with a mainly dry day anticipated.

Following 5mm of rain since entries, Naas is now yielding, good to yielding in places ahead of Saturday's meeting. It's set to remain unsettled with a chance of further showers prior to racing.
