BETS ARE OFF AT CHELTENHAM Ante-post bets on the Cheltenham Festival will be refunded after it was announced today that all entries for the postponed meeting are invalid.Ladbrokes took the decision to refund bets on the meeting on Tuesday but both Coral and William Hill were waiting for the British Horseracing Board`s verdict before following suit.A statement from the BHB said: 'The British Horseracing Board in conjunction with the managing executive of Cheltenham racecourse has today decided that entries for the cancelled meeting of March 13, 14 and 15 are invalid.'The entries will not be carried forward.'A rescheduled date for entries will only be decided when and if a date for the postponed Festival is confirmed.'Details of new entry dates for the postponed National Hunt Festival can only be finalised when arrangements for its restaging are known,' the statement said.The news means that horses like exciting juvenile hurdler Azertyuiop could be added to the line-up for the Smurfit Champion Hurdle, having missed out originally.
