Big week for Enright

Philip Enright completed a memorable week with his seventh winner (from 28 rides) on the John Joe Walsh trained Big Jemmy in the Tom Carroll Memorial Handicap Chase at Tramore today, completing a double on the day for the Co Cork jockey.

Enright, earlier successful on Beckwith Star , was again seen to good effect on the bottom weight which stayed on well from two out to pull clear of Son Of Moyne on the run-in.

Afterwards Walsh said “Big Jemmy stays and jumps well but hates that ground. We'll wait and see what to do with him when the ground gets better. I thought we weren't going to get any winner at Tramore, we had two seconds earlier, but it's good to get a winner here.”
