Rachael Blackmore is set for a spell on the sidelines after she broke a bone in her wrist at Galway last Sunday.

After winning the opener aboard Camlann, Blackmore was brought down on Oisin James in the second.

She rode in a further two races, but an x-ray later revealed the break.

Her agent Gary Cribbin said: "Rachael was brought down from Oisin James at Galway on Sunday, and an x-ray showed she broke a bone in her wrist. She had a pin insert in the wrist this morning, and she will be out for four to five weeks."
