Bocca has Canadian option Connections of Bocca Baciata are contemplating taking the filly overseas for her next start. The Jessica Harrington-trained three-year-old, owned by the Niarchos family, who run her in their Flaxman Stables colours, ran a fine third in the Blandford Stakes at the Curragh on her latest outing and could be set for a trip across the Atlantic. Alan Cooper, racing manager for the Niarchos family, said: "It's possible she could go to Canada next month for the EP Taylor Stakes. "There are a few options to weigh up, but that is a possibility." The Niarchos family's Erupt remains a "definite possible" for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe after finishing fourth on his return from a break at Longchamp earlier this month. The Dubawi colt was unbeaten in his first four career starts, completing his four-timer with a Group One victory in the Grand Prix de Paris in July. He made his first start since in the Prix Niel and although he was ultimately well-beaten by the impressive New Bay, connections feel there is scope for improvement. Cooper said: "Erupt needed the race at Longchamp the other day - with hindsight we think he blew up as he was blowing for a particularly long time afterwards. "With that in mind, I think there's plenty to work on and we'll decide next week whether to go for the Arc this year or not. It's a definite possible at this stage. "He didn't handle the heavy ground in the Prix Niel, which is contrary to what we had imagined beforehand. "That will obviously be a factor in deciding whether he runs in the Arc or not. I believe the weather is set fair, but one never knows."
