Bolger has high hopes for Teolane

Jim Bolger believes he has a strong chance of another success in the Albany Stakes when Teolane lines-up at Royal Ascot this afternoon.

The Coolcullen handler took this Group Three prize in 2008 with Cuis Ghaire and believes his representative this year is just as good a two-year-old as she was.

"She's a good type of filly. The first time she ran she got bumped leaving the stalls and didn't really find her stride but came home well," Bolger told At The Races.

"Next time out was over seven at Leopardstown and she did it really well.

"After that we went back to six at Naas and she won that very well. She's nice.

"I hate to say this, but Teolane is probably as good as Cuis Ghaire who won the Albany a few years back."
