Bolger strongly represented in trials Sunday's 1,000 and 2,000 Guineas trials at Leopardstown have attracted fields of seventeen and eleven respectively. The fillies come mainly from the stables of Jim Bolger and Aidan O'Brien. Bolger has no less than five engaged - Atasari, Gearanai, Gile Na Greine, Gold Bubbles and Pluirin. Meanwhile O'Brien has one less than his former boss, his quartet being Famous, Ice Empress, Queen Of Troy and You'll Be Mine. Dermot Weld has Brushed Aside, Kevin Prendergast has two in – Crystal Gal and Wrong Answer. The line-up is completed by Mark Fagan's Duchess Of Foxland, John Oxx's Karasiyra, Paul Deegan's Lady Springbank, Noel Meade's Miss Laa Di Da and Brian Nolan's What About Me. Last October's Killavullan Stakes at the track could hold the key to the colts trial. Winner of that event, Free Judgement (could be joined by his Jim Bolger stable-companion Purple Land) is re-opposed by the the third-placed in that seven furlong Group 3, John Oxx's impressive Roscommon victor, Keredari. Moonreach, eighth in the juvenile back-end highlight, could try his luck again for Paul Deegan. Aidan O'Brien has Black Quartz, Fighting Brave and Viscount Nelson in contention. Kevin Prendergast's sole hope is Famous Warrior. Other trainers with entries are Tommy Stack with Noll Wallop, Frank Ennis with Sebastian Flyte and Dermot Weld has Stunning View in.
