Bond Bids For Leopardstown Glory Bryan Smart is hoping Misu Bond can get back on the winning trail when he takes on just three rivals in today's Ballycorus Stakes at Leopardstown. The colt faces opposition from Lord Admiral, Aidan O'Brien's Tiger Dance, and fellow three-year-old An Tadh, who bids to follow up a recent Naas victory in the seven-furlong showpiece.Misu Bond landed the European Free Handicap at Newmarket in April prior to finishing an excellent fifth behind George Washington in the 2000 Guineas. He is reported to be in top shape for his Irish engagement, where a bold show may persuade connections to target a race at Royal Ascot. 'He's in good form. He looks really well and I'm very happy with him,' Smart explained.'He ran a smashing race in the Guineas. This is a Group Three and I'm hoping for a good run.'He's gone on good to firm but he's by Danehill Dancer and they like a bit of juice in the ground, but they promise me there's no jar in the ground at Leopardstown and they've watered well.'There's a possibility he might run at Royal Ascot next week.'He'll be entered for the Jersey and he's in the Golden Jubilee. We'll see how we go.'(C) PA Sport
