Bottle Ready For Bunbury Date

Steve Drowne is hoping Another Bottle can bounce back to his best in Friday's Ladbrokes Bunbury Cup at Newmarket.

Roger Charlton's five-year-old was a leading fancy for the Royal Hunt Cup at Ascot following a good fourth at Newbury, but his participation had been in doubt following an injury scare on the morning of the race.

Connections decided to let him take his chance at the Royal meeting but he was never travelling and eventually finished well down the field.

He is reportedly back in top trim now, and while he is dropping back in trip, his big-race jockey feels he will be equally effective over seven furlongs on the July course.

'The step back in trip would not affect him ? he shows loads of pace at home - I wouldn't be worried about the trip at all,' Drowne told At The Races.

'Obviously he had some problems before Ascot with a bruised foot but he's had some work done on that, he seems very well and he's worked well since so I am very hopeful.

'He's shown us a lot at home and we hope we can get him back and he can soon win races,' he added.
