Leanne Breen is looking forward to getting Livingston Range back in action at Dundalk on Friday.

The Equiano gelding has won twice since joining the Warrenpoint handler but has been absent since picking up an injury at the Curragh last August.

He makes his return in the opening six-furlong handicap on the card and Breen anticipates that the six-year-old will improve from the outing.

The trainer has saddled James Henry to win twice at the all-weather venue during the winter campaign and said of Livingston Range:- "He is motoring, he is actually James Henry's work partner.

"Sometimes he is one of those sprinters that takes a run or two, especially in that grade.

"It is good to have him back because he is probably one of the better horses in the yard.

"He could go for better handicaps this year, he's a lovely horse.

"When he ran in the Curragh (in August), he got taken down in the stalls and picked up a little injury, so that was him out. He probably would have run by now.

"We are going to keep him going the full year."
