Buller Backs Cancer Charity Owner Alfie Buller has donated 15 horses to create a racing club that will donate all profits to Marie Curie Cancer Care.The Burnt Toast Racing Club, established exclusively for mothers, offers 50 members a racing ownership package which runs until the end of May 2008.November 11 sees the official launch of the club, a date which coincides with the anniversary of the day Buller's mother Carol died from cancer.Buller, who owns Scarvagh House Stud in County Down, explained: 'My sister and mother were both looked after by Marie Curie nurses, so the cause is very close to all the family.'I wanted to do something for the charity that would generate a lot of money over a long period of time and benefit others.'My mother was a passionate racing fan and loved nothing more than at day out on the course cheering on one of her horses.'The 15 horses will be stabled on both sides of the Irish Sea with likes of David Pipe, Alan King, Mouse Morris and Venetia Williams taking charge of their runners.(C) PA Sport
