Back To Me attracted some support from fancy prices in the median auction maiden at Dundalk and prevailed close home to land the spoils for Adrian Murray.

The Magna Grecia colt had been well beaten on his debut at Naas in September and having been as big as 66/1 this morning he eventually went to post a 14/1 shot.

Nicola Burns produced him to challenge inside the final furlong and he just had his head in front at the post to pip My Cubby Bear by a short-head.

Burns said: "His last run was on soft ground and they kind of knew he didn't like it. He's a lovely-moving horse and I knew he would move well on it (Polytrack), and he came home very strong.

"I got checked back a bit and he came home strong.

"He will get stronger and hopefully he will (get further)."
