Butcher Hollow a hurdling debutant to note Butcher Hollow is set to commence his hurdling career after a comfortable bumper success on racecourse debut at Galway in October. The Kingston Hill gelding showed plenty of ability in coming home by four and a-half lengths and the form has been well boosted with two subsequent maiden hurdle winners coming out of the race. Trainer Tom Cooper said: "We are going hurdling with him and will go to Navan in two weeks' time on Saturday week. "I'm very happy with him and jumping is going to be his game. His Galway form has been franked and he is a big strong horse, so winter ground won't be a problem to him. "Con (McSweeney, previous trainer) had done loads of schooling with him last year, so he has done the world of schooling." Butcher Hollow won a point-to-point at Tallow in February for McSweeney.
