Byrnes Broke No Rules At Roscommon The Turf Club have concluded its investigation into the gamble landed on three Charles Byrnes-trained runners at Roscommon last week (August 2). The investigation included a review of the relevant previous runs of the three horses (War Anthem, Mr Smith and Top Of The Town) as well as a review of the Roscommon races which the horses won. A detailed inspection was also carried out at the trainer's yard. No rule breaches were identified and the Turf Club will not be taking any further action in regard to this matter.
