Byrnes unfazed by Solwhit setback Trainer Charles Byrnes still hopes to get a run into Solwhit before the planned defence of his Ladbrokes World Hurdle title at the Cheltenham Festival in March. The nine-year-old has been off the track since finishing second at Auteuil in June but had been due to make his reappearance at Leopardstown on Saturday. A late setback prevented him from taking his chance in the Christmas Hurdle, and Byrnes is to reassess his condition later in the week. "He has bit of problem with a fetlock and we will see how he is at the end of the week, but I'm not too concerned at the moment," said the Co Limerick-based handler. "I'd hope we will get a run into him before Cheltenham."
