California Dreamer is reported to have ‘done really well’ over the winter and the Irish 1,000 Guineas entry could make her seasonal reappearance at Dundalk later this month.

The daughter of Mehmas failed to score in seven races last year but showed a high level of form including when second to Truly Enchanting in the Group 2 Airlie Stud Stakes at the Curragh.

“She's coming together now and might start off in a maiden at Dundalk towards the end of the month. Then we might look at going back into Pattern races,” said AMO Racing representative Ryan McElligott.

"Her form is rock solid, you had the Anglesey run (third to Babouche) and so on.

"She ran one disappointing race last year in the Fillies' Mile, but we will kind of forgive her that. She turned up every time.

"I think she is a filly that we could have a lot of fun with in good races - seven (furlongs), a mile, should be fine.

“She has done really well since you last saw her."
