Caman Hill lands the spoils in finale The Una Corcoran-trained Caman Hill (9/2) was an impressive winner of the J.H. McLoughlin Oil Flat Race. Still showing signs of greenness throughout the race, the five-year-old son of Berkshire eventually ran out an impressive six-and-a-half-length winner under Adam Ryan, who added further success to his CV this season. "He was impressive in Ballinrobe last year," said Ryan. "He did everything wrong today - he pulled everywhere and ran away with me plenty early to the front, but he just never stopped. "He's a nice horse and, even though he is keen, he is breathing throughout his race so that is a big help. He's a big, strong horse. "He does for sure (give the feel of a good engine), any horse that can win two bumpers in this country is a fair effort." Quotes from Michael Graham
