Caradak Out To Fire In Foret

Caradak will bid for his first Group One success in tomorrow's Prix de la Foret at Longchamp.

The five-year-old was runner-up behind Court Masterpiece in the seven-furlong contest last year when he was trained by John Oxx.

Godolphin then recruited Caradak over the winter and has since won two of his three starts for the team.

The Desert Style horse registered the biggest success of his career when capturing the Celebration Mile last time and trainer Saeed bin Suroor is hoping he can follow up.

'Caradak came back very well after his last race and is working well,' he told www.godolphin.com.

'He's in good form and is ready to run well in a Group One. I'm happy with how he has been training.'

Caradak faces 13 rivals including Group One winners Marchand D'Or and Stormy River and Price Tag, who was disqualified after passing the post first in the French 1000 Guineas.

One-time Classic hope New Girlfriend also takes her chance.

British interests are also represented by Tom Tate's Welsh Emperor, the John Gosden-trained Sleeping Indian, prolific winner Indian Maiden and Mick Channon's Silver Touch.
