Carlisle raid pays off for Crawford

Stuart Crawford sent two horses over to Carlisle today from his Larne, Co Antrim base and returned with a winner when Barnabas Collins landed the concluding bumper.

Conor O'Farrell, in the trainer's colours, was on board the 3/1 shot who got up in the closing stages to win by half a length from 11/4 favourite Del La Mar Rocket.

Crawford's other runner, Island Mahee, finished third in the mares' handicap hurdle.
