The Willie Mullins-trained Daring Carlotta could bid to follow in the hoof prints of illustrious stable companion Annie Power at Wexford next month after keeping her unbeaten record intact with a stylish display at Killarney on Monday.

Having made a fine start to her career with a debut victory at Clonmel in the middle of June, the daughter of Kayf Tara was an odds-on favourite to follow up under a penalty in County Kerry and got the job done with the minimum of fuss.

Steve Massey, racing manager for the owners the Supreme Horse Racing Club, believes there is plenty for connections to look forward to.

He said: "We were delighted with her and it was quite an impressive performance when you consider she was carrying a stone more than some of her rivals.

"She won well on her debut at Clonmel and has obviously come on well since then. Hopefully there is still improvement in her.

"Patrick (Mullins) said afterwards there is a winners-of-two bumper at Wexford that Annie Power won on August 30, so that is probably where she'll go next."

Daring Carlotta was the 43rd winner for the syndicate, who continue to go on from strength to strength.

A Punchestown Festival victory with Very Much So and Royal Ascot success with club star Pique Sous have helped generate huge interest in the syndicate in 2014 and Massey admits he is thrilled the progress the club has made in recent months.

He said: "When we started the club three years ago we had just one horse and eight members. Supreme Carolina won on her debut at Listowel in September 2011.

"We now have 30 horses and we had over 200 members at Willie's yard on Saturday morning for our first open day, so the growth in the club has been fantastic.

"We have shares in five horses available at the moment and we've obviously had huge interest in the last few months, thanks to the wins of Very Much So and Pique Sous.

"We're constantly looking at ways we can improve the club and new members are always welcome."
