Registering a fourth win at the venue, Carolina Jetstream led home 13 rivals in the New Saddle Bar At Dundalk Stadium Handicap.

Successful over seven furlongs here last month and upped to a mile this evening, the Robson De Aguiar-trained bay raced mainly in third under Donagh O'Connor.

Ridden to the front with a furlong and a half to go, she soon edged right, but had enough in reserve to prevail by three-quarters of a length.

Returned at 12/1, Brewing filled the runner-up spot under Wayne Lordan, while Galway Hurdle winner Ndaawi (33/1) came home well and was a short head back in third.

Owned by AMO Racing Limited & Giselle De Aguiar, the four-year-old victor was returned the 5/2 favourite, having touched 9/2 in early shows.

"There was a little bit of pace today and she settled," the winning trainer reflected.

"Donagh rode her the last time and I left it with him. I said if he had pace, drop her back. He said when she hit the front, she just looked for company. When she finished at the line, she has picked up again.

"I'm very happy with the way she raced today, she settled well and I think she has improved mentally. I'm happy with the way she behaved in the race today.

"I think we will go for the fillies' seven furlong (race) in Newcastle (Good Friday). We are going to enter her for the mile and for seven furlongs. We will see nearer the time what suits her better.

"After Newcastle, we will try and get black type with her (on turf)."
