Carroll grabs a brace of Navan winners through Howd'yadoit Howd'yadoit brought up a double for Gary Carroll in Navan when collaring front-running Eclairage in the Round O Handicap over five furlongs. Eclairage, with Terry Casey up top, led the field a merry dance but Howd'yadoit chased after her in the final furlong with the pair of them clear of the remainder. The 3/1 shot kept gaining all the while and wore down 8/1 Eclairage close home for a head success for trainer Ger Lyons. Nouvel Espoir was six lengths away in third at 13/2. Assistant trainer Shane Lyons said: "He has done great. He has never let us down from two until three and won the big race in Naas, the Ballyhane Stakes. Everything was a bonus after that race. "All these races will teach him. The likes of the Scurry (Curragh) and all those races are there for him over the summer. "We'll go through the grades while the handicapper allows us. "You have to be respectful of Danny Murphy's horse (Eclairage), but it actually worked out great because he loves to chase one down so it was ideal." Carroll also landed the opener on Barrow Boy for Gavin Cromwell.
