Jessica Harrington’s horses have been in tremendous form, and she is hoping that Cayenne Pepper can provide her with another Classic success in Saturday’s Juddmonte Irish Oaks at the Curragh.

Cayenne Pepper ran very well in second behind Magical in last month’s Group 1 Pretty Polly Stakes, and her trainer said she was delighted with her run that day and is hopeful of a big run in Saturday’s big race.

"She really surprised me, I only thought she was 80% fit. I couldn't believe how well she travelled through the race - I thought a furlong and a half down the other horses behind her would swallow her up. They didn't at all and she got her second wind and ran on strongly to the line.

"Since the race, all things being equal she has been very good. We've always thought this year that she was going to be a mile and a half filly.

"I wouldn't like the ground to be too soft, so I hope that it stops raining."

Cayenne Pepper won three of her four starts as a juvenile including the Group 3 Flame Of Tara EBF Stakes at the Curragh.
