Cee Bee Back to Two Miles Captain Cee Bee will revert to his customary trip of two miles after running out of stamina over an extra half mile at Navan on Sunday. Trainer Eddie Harty has no firm plans for his admirable 12-year-old, but admitted it is doubtful Captain Cee Bee will be asked to go over that longer distance again after he faded into third place behind Dedigout after having every chance in the Lismullen Hurdle. "The old fella is fine. He just didn't get the trip on Sunday. He made a couple of mistakes early on which didn't help his cause and then going the extra bit just caught him out but he ran his usual gutsy race," said the Curragh-based handler. "He was running on empty at the finish, but kept trying. "I would imagine he'll go back to two miles, but where I don't know. I don't think we'll try him over two and a half again. He never lacks in guts or class."
