Champion jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle was rewarded for making the journey from Navan to Limerick as he won the Heating Engineer Supplies Maiden on long odds-on favourite Al Haarith

A second winner of the evening for trainer Joseph O'Brien, the 1/8 favourite swept clear from the two-furlong pole to score by all of nine lengths from the Pat Foley-trained 15/2 chance I Got To Go

Browne McMonagle said: “He’s a very good horse. His form as a two-year-old is really good. A little bit of a flop the last day on his reappearance but we were happy with the way he came out of the race and, we felt he’d improve plenty.”
