The Dublin Racing Festival takes place at Leopardstown on Saturday and Sunday and, unlike at Christmas, the weather gods are not, on this occasion, playing their part by providing rain in the run-up to the fixture.

The latest going update, following no measurable rain and 12mm of irrigation on the chase track on Saturday, has the ground on the hurdles track described as soft, yielding in places while it's yielding, good to yielding in places on the chase track.

It's set to be dry, bright and breezy today and tomorrow, when we'll find out which horses remain in the fifteen races, and watering on the chase course will continue this week.
