Littlefoot (8/1) scored on his fences debut today, landing Downpatrick’s Caherty Stables Beginners Chase for trainer Mark Molloy, jockey Dan King and the Littlefoot Partnership.

Pulled up at the Dublin Racing Festival in February, the son of Milan was held up in rear in today’s race and while pushed along from the third-last, finished well to eventually score by 4.25 lengths from Dee’s Lady .

Thurles-based Molloy mentioned "this is a horse we like. He finished second in Punchestown (festival in 2025) but has had a few little niggling injuries along the way, so we’ve been patient. It was his chase debut but he had run in two point-to-points.

"Hopefully he can progress from this and while he's not a big horse, has a great attitude. He's one of the pets at home.”
