CHELTENHAM LOOK SHARP

Capel Cure Sharp were announced today as new sponsors of the Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham.

The national private client investment management company take over from Citroen in backing the first race of the National Hunt Festival in March.

Cheltenham managing director Edward Gillespie said: "We are delighted to secure such a high-profile new sponsor to Cheltenham.

"The Supreme Novices' always produces an outstanding horse and I'm sure 2000 will be no different in that respect. We very much look forward to working with Capel Cure Sharp."

The Supreme Novices', which has been sponsored by Waterford Crystal and Trafalgar House in the past, will carry total £80,000 in total prize money this year.
