Chicago Grey second at Cheltenham

Gordon Elliott's Chicago Grey finished second to impressive winner Time For Rupert (10-11 favourite), who maintained his unbeaten record over fences in the DRS Contracts Novices' Chase at Cheltenham today.

Second to Big Buck's in the World Hurdle in March, Paul Webber's Time For Rupert has made the switch to fences a seamless one.

Richard Johnson set a stiff gallop on Quinz but Will Kennedy had moved up to his quarters effortlessly by the time they turned into the straight.

Chicago Grey also tracked them, but when Kennedy asked his mount to quicken the response was immediate.

Showing a nice change of gear, he impressively sprinted up the hill at the end of three miles to beat Chicago Grey by eight lengths.

Sky Bet cut him to 4-1 from 6-1 for the RSA Chase.
