Ciao collects first hurdles win Ciao Adios came with a strong surge to land the spoils in the 0-100 handicap hurdle at Cork for trainer Adrian Murray. Cramers Valley made a bold bid from the front in the two-miler but was claimed going to the last by the daughter of The Gurkha. Eoin Kelly’s mount stayed on strongly in the closing stages to record a three-and-a-quarter length win at odds of 9/1. It was a first success over jumps for Ciao Adios, who won twice on the Flat in England. Kelly, carrying the colours of his father Michael, said:- "She isn't a world beater but is a lovely little filly and is very honest.  "I tried to settle her, get her into a nice rhythm and it worked out lovely. If she gets racing prominently too early, she can do too much so has to be ridden patiently and stayed on really well today. "That's her first win over hurdles so hopefully there'll be a few more in her. She loves that ground and I wouldn't be afraid to go 2m4f." (Quotes by Tom Weekes)
