Cinders on Champion trail Donald McCain is plotting Champion Hurdle glory with Supreme Novices' winner Cinders And Ashes this season. The five-year-old is 10-1 fourth favourite with for the Cheltenham Festival contest after a highly-successful novice campaign that yielded four wins from five starts. McCain told the Racing Post Weekender: "He has come back even stronger for the summer break and the big target this season will be the Champion Hurdle. "Make no mistake, he is right up there with the very best hurdlers. "His return race is most likely to be the Fighting Fifth Hurdle, in which we have been very lucky having won it for each of the past two seasons with Peddlers Cross and Overturn. "This horse is certainly up to the task and I can't wait to get him back on track."
