Tom Hogan reports his triple Group One winner Gordon Lord Byron to be in “wonderful form” following a racecourse gallop after racing at the Curragh on Sunday.

The globetrotting six-year-old, who raced in Hong Kong and Australia earlier this year, was last seen finishing eighth of fourteen behind Slade Power in the Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot.

The son of Byron is well entered up for the remainder of the season and the Listed City Of York Stakes, which he won in 2012, is his likely next port of call.

Hogan said: "He is in wonderful form and his work was very exciting. The City Of York Stakes at York on Friday week is his initial target and then the Haydock Sprint (September 6th)."
