Clarke keeps up the good work with Tara Power Tara Power bridged a gap of well over three years without a win when taking the concluding Put The Fun in Fundraising At Dundalk Handicap in the hands of veteran rider Niall McCullagh. The victory completed a good week for trainer Keith Clarke who was also successful with Albion Power here last Friday. The 12/1 chance travelled well early in the straight and having been ridden to lead over a furlong out, soon drifted left before keeping on well to score by a length and a quarter. Nusra just got the better of Omakase for the runner-up spot. Clarke said, “They were working together (last week's winner Albion Power) - two nice horses and a great syndicate own them. They bred them and the only thing different about them is their sires. They have a great work ethic those two horses. "Small yard and I've only a handful returned in at the minute, but getting results. Hard work and the little lad there, Liam Byrne, is coming out and giving me a dig out in the mornings, so it is nice to see him here tonight as well. "I was confident and it is nice to get two in one week. It is fantastic. "It is trying to get the right races. That race didn't even suit Tara tonight - he really wants a mile or a mile and a-quarter and he just barely gets it (mile and a-half), but he did it tonight under a peach of a ride under Niall. In that race, you go for experience, and I got plenty of that tonight." Quotes by Michael Graham
