Chris Hayes completed a treble at Dundalk today, landing the concluding DundalkStadium.com Handicap (div II) on Bradesco , which provided owner/trainer/breeder Luke Comer with a deserved winner on the day.

Comer had earlier narrowly failed with third-placed Eskimo Lil , beaten two noses, and half-length runner-up Wee Jim but scored with last-gasp winner Bradesco, his eight runner at the fixture.

Runner-up No Trouble was matched in-running at 1.01 in the race but Bradesco finished well to lead near the line and score by a short-head.

Comer's assistant Jim Gorman later reported “he'll come back here for a two-mile race (on November 26) and he's improving all the time.

“I didn't think he'd go on this surface as he's a huge big horse but he does. The horses are running well and we could have had a treble this evening so hopefully it continues.”

Hayes, earlier successful on Star Girl Aalmal and Marsa , steered Bradesco to win at the track last Wednesday and following today's treble, he is three winners clear (28-25) of Colin Keane at the head of the 2021 All-Weather Championship.
