Trainer Henry De Bromhead continued what has been an excellent few days for his stable when sending out Coming Up Easy to win the featured Listed O'Donoghue Ring Collection Handicap Chase at Killarney.

A winner of his last two starts over fences, the gelding was making his first appearance since Cork in April.

Making virtually all the running under Jordan Gainford, the 6/1 chance kicked on early in the straight and, had his rivals in trouble from three out. Dreal Deal stayed on well from out of the chasing group to take second place but Coming Up Easy scored readily by five-and-a-half lengths.

Jordan Gainford reported: "We went quick over the first two or three fences and after that I was able to get an easy lead. He might have preferred the ground to be a bit drier but he handled it well and jumped great.

"That's the way Henry likes us to ride his horses, it was great to get an opportunity to ride a horse like him who is a classy horse.

"We are all in Henry's fighting for rides so when you come across a horse like him, it is great. I ride out in Gordon's a couple of days a week and am in Cian Collins' and Henry's also, so I'm getting around and keeping busy."
