Commonwealth Cup the target for Castle Star Fozzy Stack gave an update on Castle Star and Hermana Estrella at Naas on Saturday afternoon, with the former set to return to action at Royal Ascot next month. A model of consistency last year, Castle Star won the Listed First Flier Stakes and the Group 3 Marble Hill. Beaten by just half-a-length at the highest level in the Middle Park at Newmarket, the Commonwealth Cup is now his next target. "He is good and we'll probably go to the Commonwealth Cup with him, that has been the plan all along," Stack said. "He had plenty of racing last year so we'll just try and keep him fresh and well. He's not a horse that takes a lot of work and he knows his trade well. "He ran seven times last year so it's not as if he needs experience." A trip to France is on the agenda for Hermana Estrella, a shock 50/1 winner on debut in the Group 3 Irish EBF Fillies Sprint Stakes at Naas, beating subsequent Royal Ascot winner Quick Suzy into second. "She will probably go for the French Guineas next weekend. She's in good order and she'll run well.” When asked if he'd be hoping for a cut in the ground, Stack added: “Hopefully, we'll see what happens and we'll worry about the weather forecast next Friday or Saturday.” Additional reporting by Gary Carson
