Ken Condon is considering at trip to Newmarket with Montebell in the Princess Royal Richard Hambro EBF Stakes on Thursday.

Condon, who trains on the Curragh, has been delighted with his daughter of Dylan Thomas since she won a premier handicap earlier this month.

That was her first run since a narrow defeat by the smart Hartani in May and a lack of opportunities at home has made Condon scour the programme book away from Ireland.

"We've got her in this race and also one on Friday (Godolphin Stakes), so we'll just have a look at them both," said Condon.

"She's come out of her last race in great form and I've been very pleased with her since. We're keen to step her into a stakes race as we think she's earned it, but there's nothing over a mile and a half for fillies over here until the end of the season. I'd have no qualms about travelling with her.

"Her form stacks up very well. She's beaten Livia Galilei in a maiden who has won three since and then she wasn't beaten far by Hartani. Her win the last day was very impressive.

"She's very unexposed, she's lightly-raced and we don't know how good she could be. We have no idea at home as she only works to about 80 but her form on the track suggests she's much better than that."
