Condon suffers broken ankle Davy Condon remains in Tullamore Hospital after suffering a fractured ankle at Kilbeggan last night. The jockey was unseated from Jawad in the featured Midlands National and is expected to be out of action for six weeks. He was taken to hospital along with David Casey, who suffered a crashing fall from On The Other Hand in the same race. Casey is resting injuries to his shoulder and his situation will be reviewed after the weekend. Andrew Thornton was last night discharged from Tullamore Hospital following his fall from Strolling Home, who was brought down in the fourth race. Ruby Walsh, who rode faller Luca Brasi, stood himself down with soft tissue injuries but is expected to be back in action at Tipperary tomorrow.
