Confidence behind Bring On The Night's Royal Ascot raid Willie Mullins' Bring On The Night bids to go one place better in the Ascot Stakes tomorrow under Ryan Moore. The duo ran on for second in last year's renewal and were beaten three-parts of a length by Coltrane who has been clocking up Listed and Group-race victories since then. The six-year-old Gleneagles gelding hasn't been out since, but heads the market for this £100,000 contest over an extended 2m3f trip and connections are full of faith in his chance. Assistant trainer Patrick Mullins said: "We are well able to get horses fit at home, but ideally you'd love a run. "I think he has done plenty of work. He handled a setback and then we just said we would get him straight to Ascot to protect his mark. "He's a Group horse in a handicap, so he has to go there with a fabulous chance. "Everything should be right up his street - if he could even just emulate his run from last year, he should be hard to beat."
