Cooper set for operation this morning Bryan Cooper is set for an operation this morning after suffering a broken leg at Down Royal yesterday. Cooper took a fall from Tepalo in the beginners chase at the northern track yesterday. The jockey confirmed last night on twitter that he had suffered a broken femur. He tweeted:- "Thanks for all the msgs. Broke my left femur so having an operation in d morning also thanks to all the staff at @Downroyal for there help!"
