Coral Cup option for Dunguib Dunguib could switch to the Coral Cup if connections think he's going to come up short of the standard required to win the stanjames.com Champion Hurdle. Philip Fenton's charge will run in the Red Mills Hurdle at Gowran Park in two weeks' time and the trainer expects to know a lot more about his spring programme after that. He will be heading to the Festival for a third time having won the Weatherbys Champion Bumper in 2009 and finishing third behind Menorah and Get Me Out Of Here when a red-hot favourite for last year's Supreme Novices' Hurdle. "That form has worked out well but on the day we were a litte bit disappointed. The form is fairly solid but whether it's Champion Hurdle form will be answered on the day," Fenton told At The Races. "All along we've had great belief in our horse but if it so happens his work wasn't as good as it could or should be we could have a re-think and have an entry in the Coral Cup. "He'll have to run well in the Red Mills Hurdle before we decide what the next course of action will be."
