Cork cancelled This evening's fixture at Cork has been cancelled due to waterlogging. A morning downpour forced course officials to call an impromptu 2pm inspection. Following the look Turf Club officials found the track to be unfit for racing and they were left with no option but to cancel the meeting. A statement read: "The Turf Club has announced that, following a course inspection at Cork, the track was found to be unfit for racing due to waterlogging. "As a consequence, the fixture scheduled for today, Friday, May 8, has been cancelled."
