David Lanigan is considering options in Ireland and France for fast-improving filly Worth Waiting.

Having filled the runner-up spot on her first two starts at Newmarket and Nottingham, the daughter of Bated Breath made it third-time lucky at Redcar in May and has not looked back.

A decisive handicap success at Windsor last month was followed by a Listed triumph at Newmarket in last Saturday’s Aphrodite Stakes under Franny Norton and she looks set to step up to Pattern class on her next start.

Lanigan said: “She’s come out of Newmarket great. I’m very happy with her.

“She’s entered in a a Group Three at Cork (Give Thanks Stakes, August 11) and she’s also in a Group race at Deauville on the same weekend (Prix Minevre, August 12).

“She’s a filly I’ve always liked and she’s improving with every run.

“I think she’s getting stronger all the time and I think she’ll be an even better filly next season.”
