Cork raceable but further inspection tomorrow Cork is currently raceable ahead of its Hilly Way meeting tomorrow but, due to the weather forecast, a further inspection at 8am on Sunday has been called. Speaking after the noon inspection today, IHRB Clerk of the Course Val O'Connell said: "We've just had an inspection at the track and I'm pleased to say that the track remains raceable at the moment. "The ground is yielding to soft, soft in places. We did have frost last night, but it didn't get into the ground. It was mostly a grass frost. We are around three or four degrees at the moment and it is thawing away there. "In light of the forecast of further frost tonight into tomorrow, we are going to have a further inspection tomorrow morning at 8 o'clock just to determine the situation for racing tomorrow." The Grade 2 mares' novices' chase features a clash between Dinoblue and Impervious who both won on debut over fences.
