Cossack on Feltham list Don Cossack is among 10 possible runners in the Kauto Star Novices' Chase at Kempton on St Stephen's Day. Gordon Elliott's six-year-old finally delivered the Grade One he has long promised with a determined display in the Drinmore Novice Chase at Fairyhouse at the start of the month and could now step up to three miles for the first time in a race better known as the Feltham Novices' Chase. Elliott said: "I need to look at the entries and speak with the owners (Gigginstown House Stud) before we make any plans." Don Cossack is the only Irish-trained horse in the field following the confirmation stage. Kauto Star's former trainer Paul Nicholls has both Black Thunder and Just A Par engaged, while Colin Tizzard has left in the consistent Third Intention. Green Flat is a potential raider for Scotland's Lucinda Russell, with Many Clouds and According To Trev also in the mix.
