Cowell outlines Goldream options Robert Cowell is not short of options after Goldream was ruled out of his defence of the King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot on Tuesday. The dual Group One-winning sprinter was declared a non-runner after the ground turned soft, b ut his trainer was not too disheartened, with races like the Coral Charge at Sandown and the Nunthorpe Stakes at York now on his radar. Cowell said: "It just so happens that conditions were not right for him. The main thing is he'll be sound for another day." He went on: "There are lots of options - more options than before. There are the obvious races he can run in like the Coral Charge (Sandown) and the Sapphire Stakes (Curragh). "There's also the Nunthorpe at York. After that race he'll have no penalty to carry, so we could potentially drop him to Listed races. "We've got to get him started again because he needs to be racing."
