Cracker heads Irish quartet in Chepstow feature Irish National winner Bluesea Cracker is one of four possible raiders from this side of the Irish Sea for Saturday's rearranged Coral Welsh National at Chepstow. Noel Meade has withdrawn Pandorama, but Willie Mullins could still be represented by Arbor Supreme while Becauseicouldntsee and Lochan Lacha complete the quartet. The race was saved after the weather scuppered any hopes to run the marathon event on December 27th. Silver By Nature remains at the head of the weights. Lucinda Russell's grey will have to carry a welter burden following his victory in a valuable event at Haydock last season. Last year's winner Dream Alliance is next in the list for Philip Hobbs, but he has been pulled up in his last three races. Tony McCoy's expected mount, ante-post favourite Synchronised, will aim to give the perennial champion jockey his first win in the race. Paul Nicholls' novice Watamu Bay is another high up in the weights, while teenagers Eric's Charm, Hello Bud and Knowhere are still engaged. Exmoor Ranger, Summery Justice and Maktu are others to note.
