Cristal Clear Plan

Tom Mullins is planning to step Cristal Island up to Group company for the first time in the Go And Go Round Tower Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday.

The two-year-old was a game winner of a maiden at the Galway Festival and Mullins has been pleased with her subsequent progress. She also holds an engagement in a nursery at Tipperary on Thursday but the likely soft ground at that venue means she will bypass that event.

"Tipperary looks like it will be extremely testing so she could run at the Curragh," said Mullins.

"We were really pleased with how she won the last day and she has been showing up well since so we thought we would give her an entry in the Round Tower and see how it was looking.

"She worked very nicely so we'll have a look and although she is dropping down to six furlongs, that shouldn't be a problem."
